Twelve Weeks to Health – Get high-risk staff on the path to wellness!

The Life Care Nutrition 12 Week Health Improvement Programme is designed for high-risk individuals on your team. These are typically people who exhibit signs of sleep apnoea, have high blood pressure or high cholesterol, are overweight, have cardiovascular disease and/or have diabetes.

Team members with these conditions are at an increased risk of workplace injury, increased medical costs, reduced productivity and increased absenteeism. The Life Care Nutrition Health Improvement Programme is your company’s solution to improve the health of your high-risk staff and to get them on the path to wellness.

Designed for staff with one or more of the following:

  • Overweight or obese
  • May experience sleep disorders
  • High blood pressure, and /or high cholesterol
  • Pre-diabetes or diabetes
  • Cardiovascular disease

The 12-week Health Improvement Programme is your solution to improve the health of your high-risk staff and get them more productive and fit for work.

TWELVE WEEK HEALTH IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME:

The 12 Week Health Improvement Programme is run by one of our Registered Dietitians/ Nutritionists.

  • Before the programme starts each staff member will complete a lifestyle and medical history questionnaire.

 

  • At the beginning of the programme, each member will have measurements taken. Based on these measurements and the questionnaire responses, an individualised report will be provided to each participant, with specific lifestyle recommendations and goals by one of our Registered Dietitians / Nutritionists.
  • There will be five small-group education sessions (held fortnightly) on topics around weight loss, healthy eating, regular physical activity, healthy sleep, and other lifestyle factors. There is a weigh-in at the end of each session.

 

  • Fortnightly (on alternative weeks to the education session), the participant will receive a phone call or email for support and to check on progress.
  • Upon completion of the programme, the members will receive a report of their progress and successes.

 

  • The company will receive a report outlining the successes of the group and health improvements.
