Managing Mental Health in the Workplace takes mental health first aid to the next level! This training course was created to help team leaders and managers, who want to deepen their knowledge and understanding and to enable them to best manage their people with mental health concerns.

This full day training session, takes an in-depth look at the wide-spread nature of mental illness, wellbeing, and the importance of promoting mental health in the workplace. We discuss common myths around mental illness, and analyse current legislation to ensure best practice, concentrating on conscious and unconscious bias; and the importance of positive outcomes of providing fair accommodations for staff with a diagnosed mental health condition. We also look at the common misconceptions of staff with a challenging personality versus a potential mental health condition, and provide the skills to identify the difference.
