Wellness Programmes
Life Care Consultants provide a variety of health assessments, drug testing and wellness programmes to suit your workplace.
Depending on the number of tests involved, the assessments take between ten and forty minutes per person. Advice and education is given to each person as appropriate, and if further testing is advisable a referral letter for the relevant health professional is given to the person at the time.
Health Assessments may include:
• Vision
• Hearing
• Lung Function
• Blood Pressure
• Cholesterol
• Blood Glucose Level
• Body Mass Index (BMI)
• Lifestyle Questionnaire (to analyse risk factors)
• Pre-employment Medical Assessments
Other tests can be included if required.
Wellness Program
These programs are designed to provide education and incentives for staff to address health issues. These issues may be important to them, and often have the potential to cost the company money in downtime if left to develop e.g. high blood pressure resulting in a heart attack.
This usually involves our consultant coming to your workplace and meeting with each person on a one-to-one basis; a baseline analysis, health related seminars, coaching and then a final health analysis including a report to management. We can tailor a plan to suit your company and your staff and their individual requirements.
