First Aid Training Courses

Life Care Consultants First Aid Training is customised for relevance to each group. Our skilled, enthusiastic trainers use accelerated learning techniques and lots of hands on activities to make the learning experience fun, enjoyable and effective.
For groups of eight or more we can come to your workplace and deliver the training at a time to suit your work schedule. We also hold public first aid courses nationwide, regularly in Hamilton, Wellington, Auckland and other regions from Whangarei to Invercargill.

Workbased First Aid Training Courses

This course incorporates NZQA unit standards 6400, 6401 and 6402, the standards recommended for Workplace First Aiders. There are no written tests, and we use a range of scenarios and activities to ensure you achieve the requirements of the course.

Refresher First Aid Training Courses

Refresher courses are required every two years to keep your first aid certificate current. Even if you did your first course somewhere else, we can do your refresher for you.

First Responder First Aid Training Courses

This course includes NZQA unit standards 6401 and 6402.
Topics will include Scene Assessment, Patient Assessment and CPR to name a few.

First Aid Training Courses for the Electrical Industry

BLS (Basic Life Support) and/or BFA (Basic First Aid) courses are available for the high voltage electrical industry as well as regular two yearly registration renewals for electrical workers.

Paediatric First Aid Training Courses

Paediatric courses are specially tailored to suit the requirements of the early childhood education and childcare industries. Topics included will be specific to infants and children e.g. febrile convulsions, childhood asthma, burns and fractures, to name a few.
