LEVEL 4/5 ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING.
Life Care Consultants offers ACLS Level 4 and Level 5 to health professionals. Additional courses can be delivered to specific groups where the minimum numbers stated are available. We offer combined courses where reception/administration staff, nurses and GP’s attend altogether and find this an excellent way to practice emergency responsiveness in their surgery.
LEVEL 5 ACLS COURSE
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Level 5
The Level 5 ACLS course has been endorsement from the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners for 4 hours. The course also meets the compulsory resuscitation skills of the RNZGP MOPS and GPEP 2 requirements for General Practitioners to obtain a certificate of competency in resuscitation skills to Level 5 of the New Zealand Resuscitation Council standards.
This course meets the ongoing education requirements for all GPs and the requirements of the ACC rural General Practice agreement for GP’s and nurses. Life Care Consultants has also received approval to deliver the ACLS Level 5 course on a 1-1 basis.
Length: 4 hours
Numbers: Minimum of 4 people, maximum of 8
Cost: $250.00 plus GST
LEVEL 4 ACLS COURSE
Resuscitation for Health Professionals Level 4
This course is based on the ACLS Level 5 course and covers compulsory skills and knowledge for Registered nurses, Midwives and meets the IMAC certification requirements. It is also approved for Dentists.
Length: 4 hours
Numbers: Minimum of 8 people, maximum of 10
Cost: $120.00 plus GST
Practice administrators are able to attend CPR/Defibrillation refresher courses on the same dates but times may vary depending on numbers. The cost for this component is $45 excl GST per person and usually last for about 90 minutes. Please contact us to arrange these courses.
