Booking your first aid training course with us couldn't be easier with our online booking system. Simply select which region you would like the course to be in and what month you require then follow the simple instructions.

All individuals must pay by credit card.

Companies may either pay by credit card or select the invoice option and insert your preauthorised code.

Each course listed opposite caters for Workbased and Refresher training. Those requiring a Workbased course attend both morning and afternoon sessions, while those requiring a Refresher course attend for the morning session only (You will be asked to indicate this when booking)

Workbased First Aid Training (Full Course) - 8.30am - 4.30pm

First Aid recertification is required every 2 yrs (a 3 month grace period is allowed for renewal)

First Aid Training: What can I expect?

We will tailor the training to be specific to your industry and include the management of the risks your staff work with, ie: childhood asthma and febrile convulsions for people who care for infants and small children; bitumen burns and exposure to heat and cold for roading workers, and hypothermia and heat exhaustion and major wounds for chainsaw operators, to name a few examples.

What is included in the first aid course?

The training will include plenty of hands-on training and assessments; there will be no written work required, each successful participant will receive a first aid book, unit standards registered on the NZQA framework, and a certificate of achievement.

The teaching will include accelerated learning techniques and will involve visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning styles to ensure every participant is given the best opportunity to succeed.

Each course will include CPR and Choking on an Infant, Child (3 year old), Child (7 Year old) and an Adult. Each course will have at least six manikins to ensure ample time to practice and build confidence.

I just need a refresher first aid course.

We can provide a First Aid Refresher course, in a 4 hour time frame, - if the existing certificate is less than 2 years and 3 months old; if not you will need to do a complete full day workbased course.
